Terratec Noxon 1 - £80

The Terratec Noxon is an excellent player from soundcard specialists Terratec

This device competes with the Streamium SL50i and Netgear MP101 in the cheaper end of the market

File formats this will play are sadly limited, but on-par with the competition

Setup is extremely easy and reliability is excellent. There isn't any software directly bundled with the product, but it works with all UPnP streamers, including the excellent Twonkyvision

The screen is large and backlit, so navigating tracks from a distance is possible and the remote is easy to use

Internet radio is available directly, without needing a computer

Although not a match for the more expensive players, this is an excellent product at its price point
